Congratulations to Geng Wang, a PhD student in the School of Education, who has been awarded a grant to the maximum value of £1500 by the UCCL (Universities’ China Committee in London) to support her research on vocational education in China. Supervised by Dr Lesley Doyle and Professor Vic Lally, Geng is investigating the lives and aspirations of young people in Chinese vocational colleges.

UCCL supports a limited number of China-related projects and administers the research funds on behalf of the Sino-British Fellowship Trust.
